1. Information Collection and Use
MeloMove collects and processes information you voluntarily provide, including fitness goals, workout preferences, physical measurements, mood data, and exercise history. This information is used solely to personalize your experience and provide fitness recommendations. All data processing occurs exclusively on your device.
2. Local Data Storage
ALL user data remains stored locally on your device using Apple's secure storage frameworks. SYMBOT LTD does not collect, access, transmit, store, or process any of your personal information on external servers. Your fitness data, health information, mood tracking, and workout history remain entirely private and under your exclusive control.
3. No Data Collection or Transmission
SYMBOT LTD maintains a strict zero-data-collection policy. We do not collect personal data, health information, workout history, usage analytics, crash reports, or any other user information. We have no access to your data and cannot view, analyze, or process any information you enter into MeloMove. Your privacy is protected by architectural design.
4. Third-Party LLM Service Integration
When you choose to enable AI-powered features, MeloMove acts solely as a client interface to your chosen LLM provider (OpenAI, Anthropic/Claude, Google/Gemini). You provide your own API key and maintain a direct relationship with your chosen provider. Data transmitted to LLM services is governed by that provider's privacy policy, not SYMBOT LTD's. SYMBOT LTD does not intercept, process, store, or access any API communications.
5. Your API Key and Credentials
API keys you provide are stored encrypted on your device only. SYMBOT LTD cannot access your API keys. You are solely responsible for the security of your API credentials and any costs incurred through their use. SYMBOT LTD has no liability for unauthorized access to or misuse of your API keys.
6. Subscription and Payment Processing
Subscription payments for MeloMove Pro (£3.99/month) are processed exclusively through Apple's In-App Purchase system. SYMBOT LTD does not collect, process, or store any payment information. Apple handles all payment processing according to their privacy policy. SYMBOT LTD receives only anonymized transaction confirmations necessary to verify subscription status.
7. No Third-Party Data Sharing
SYMBOT LTD does not share, sell, rent, or disclose your data to any third parties for marketing, analytics, or any other purpose. The only external communication occurs when you enable AI features using your own API key, which connects directly to your chosen LLM provider. No data is shared with advertisers, data brokers, or analytics services.
8. Data Control and Deletion
You maintain complete control over your data. You may view, modify, export, or delete your data at any time through the app. To permanently delete all data, simply uninstall the application from your device. No server-side account deletion is required as SYMBOT LTD maintains no user accounts or server-stored data.
9. No Data Retention
SYMBOT LTD retains zero user data because we never collect it. There are no servers containing your data, no backups to delete, and no external storage to manage. Your data exists only on your device and, when AI features are enabled, transiently with your chosen LLM provider during API requests.
10. Data Security and Loss
While SYMBOT LTD implements industry-standard security practices for local data storage, you acknowledge that no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. SYMBOT LTD is NOT liable for any data loss, corruption, unauthorized access, or security breaches occurring on your device. You are responsible for maintaining device security, backups, and operating system updates.
11. Children's Privacy
MeloMove is not intended for use by individuals under 13 years of age. SYMBOT LTD does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided information to MeloMove, please delete the app from their device.
12. Changes to Privacy Policy
SYMBOT LTD may update this Privacy Policy at any time without prior notice. Changes will be reflected in the app with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of MeloMove after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. SYMBOT LTD has no obligation to notify users of policy changes.
13. International Data Transfers
Since all data remains on your device, SYMBOT LTD does not perform international data transfers. If you enable AI features, data may be transmitted to your chosen LLM provider's servers, which may be located in different countries. You are responsible for understanding and accepting your LLM provider's data handling practices.
14. No Warranties
SYMBOT LTD makes no warranties or representations regarding the privacy, security, or integrity of data stored on your device. MeloMove is provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind. SYMBOT LTD disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
